Language level B2 certifies a language competence at the level of independent language use. This means you can understand the core content of complex texts with abstract topics. It should also be possible to understand and discuss technical discussions on one’s own special field. Spontaneous and fluent communication with native speakers should be possible without too much effort and one should be able to express oneself and discuss a wide range of topics.
